Ignis D2 Adapter Sleeve: Assembly & Adjustment GuideUpdated 3 days ago
This guide provides detailed instructions on how to assemble your Ignis D2 clubhead and shaft, and how to utilize the adapter sleeve settings to optimize your performance on the course.
1. Physical Assembly Instructions
Setting up your wood is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure a secure fit:
Prepare the Components: Remove all protective packaging from the shaft adapter and the clubhead hosel. Ensure the surfaces are clean and free of debris.
Align and Insert: Slide the clubhead onto the shaft adapter. The adapter features etched letters (N, A, B, etc.). Align the letter representing your desired setting with the indicator mark found on the hosel of the clubhead.
Secure and Torque: Use the included torque wrench to tighten the screw clockwise. Continue turning until you hear a distinct "click." This audible signal confirms that the screw has reached the recommended tension.
2. Adjustment Reference Table
Setting | Right-Handed (RH) Effect | Left-Handed (LH) Effect |
|---|---|---|
N | Neutral (Standard) | Neutral (Standard) |
A | -1° Loft & Upright Lie | +1° Loft & Upright Lie |
B | -2° Loft & Upright Lie | +2° Loft |
C | -1° Loft | +1° Loft |
U | Universal Flat Lie | Universal Flat Lie |
D | +1° Loft | -1° Loft |
E | +2° Loft | -2° Loft & Upright Lie |
F | +1° Loft & Upright Lie | -1° Loft & Upright Lie |
Which setting should I use?
Starting with the Neutral (N) setting is highly recommended. This provides the standard loft as specified on the clubhead. Adjustments should only be made once you have a consistent baseline for your ball flight.
